The National Careers & Employment Expo

The National Careers & Employment Expo (NCEE) is Australia's largest and most popular career event and are proud to be associated with NCDW around Australia.
The National Careers & Employment Expos provide opportunities to engage with leading employers including Defence Force Recruiting, Qantas and ALDI to name a few: key government organizations and educators. Don't miss The National Careers & Employment Expo in your city from April to August 2011. The Exhibitors at the 2011 expo will be advising visitors of skills shortages and career opportunities for their current workforce and training paths for the future.

The Wiggles
The well-known Australian entertainment phenomenon, and highly successful business empire, The Wiggles, support the National Career Development Week (NCDW) campaign. NCDW Ambassador, Blue Wiggle Anthony Field, clearly has a great career and is living proof that learning new skills is the key to getting a career you love. In 2009, The Wiggles donated a community service announcement to NCDW for broadcast on TV and shown in selected Cinemas.
Despite nearly two decades in the business, the internationally popular group continue to engage in lifelong learning themselves and are inspiring a new generation of musicians and performers wanting to join The Wiggles. Their story demonstrates the relevance of ongoing career development whatever your age or career stage.
Sam Sheppard - Women Into Building Initiative/ Buildmore Building Solutions Group

Adult Learning Australia
The Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA), the organisation responsible for the National Career Development Week (NCDW) initiative, has formed a partnership with Adult Learning Australia (ALA) to foster continued adult learning and career development. Although National Career Development Week (NCDW) is celebrated in May and Adult Learners Week (ALW) is celebrated in September, both NCDW and ALA support activities taking place throughout the year.
