Anthony FieldThe Blue Wiggle's own career has taken some surprising twists - the career path Anthony Field took to where he is now is certainly not an obvious one and his success story can be seen as a result of all his interests coming together. Anthony began his career as an infantry soldier and a piper with the 5/7 Royal Australian Regiment. Anthony, his brothers Paul and John, and purple Wiggle Jeff were members of the 80's chart topping group The Cockroaches. Anthony attended Macquarie University Institute of Early Childhood Learning along with Murray Cook and Greg Page obtaining his Diploma of teaching in 1990. It was there the three began writing children's songs as one of their University music projects, with the assistance of Jeff Fatt, andThe Wiggles were born. Anthony has always been keen to continue to pursue other projects that interest him, proving that career development never really ends. Hence the importance of his role as Ambassador for the NCDW campaign as an inspiration to all Australians.
