NCDW 2011 Campaign update
Another year is upon us … so what can you expect in the coming months from the National Career Development Week Campaign (NCDW)? It’s not too late to register your 2010 events nor is it too early to register your 2011 events as although the calendar tells us that we are into end-of year countdown, like many of you, here at NCDW we are already planning our 2011 activities.

During November the NCDW website (www.ncdw.com.au) will be undergoing a navigation refresh to make it easier for you to locate and use the vast number of resources. We are developing new resources including more career factsheets, updated event planning factsheets, new event templates, videos, podcasts and more. Keep an eye on our Latest News section on the NCDW website home page and look out for our regular Campaign News blogs posted there. Plus a special new initiative in 2011 will be a webinar series providing you with a unique opportunity to engage in interactive event planning workshops run by the NCDW Team. We will also be sending out specially tailored newsletters in the coming months to meet a variety of specific NCDW audience needs – so keep an eye on your inbox.

NCDW 2011 celebration week will take place from 16 to 22 May, 2011. The NCDW Campaign is an initiative of the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA) and sponsored by the Australian Government.

NCDW is not just for schools
Career development is important for everyone and the National Career Development Week Campaign (NCDW) has resources to assist you, your staff, clients or students, whatever your background, age or career stage. If you’re an industry or association spokesperson, small or large business owner, H.R. manager or employer, staff manager or team leader, or any other employee representative, we want to hear from you - get in contact with the NCDW team today, by sending an email to contact_team@ncdw.com.au to find out how NCDW can benefit your business and/or keep a look out on the website (www.ncdw.com.au) for our new staff career development workshop templates.

Incorporating career development activities as part of your organisational development strategy will assist your staff or employees to manage their own careers, which is not only good for their development and morale but also good for your business! Find out more in the coming months.
