What a fantastic week we had last week with our National Career Development Week celebrations taking place across Australia from 18 to 24 May!  Check out the NCDW Campaign Manager's blog on a few of the week's activities.

What a week! And the event registrations keep on coming ...

Last week Australians of all ages and career stages attended a variety of National Career Development Week events that will assist them to develop the skills to manage their lives, learning and work.

We started the week on 561 events and finished on 658. A massive 63 newspaper articles across Australia reported on NCDW events taking place during celebration week. We'd like to congratulate all of those involved in making this the best year yet.

Remember you can still register events held at any time during the year, just go to the website and fill out the easy to complete Registration Form.

We want to hear from you and there are prizes up for grabs for your efforts

We understand that all you want to do after the activities of last week is put your feet up, but please send us your stories and have your say on any of the following topics. We're genuinely interested in your views and a range of fantastic prizes are up for grabs, including a $100 Myer gift voucher; $50 Myer gift voucher, double cinema passes, and career development books, to reward you for your efforts.

  • Let us know when and where you saw or heard about National Career Development Week in the media, whether national, regional, or community;
  • Have your say about career development by answering the following questions: (1) How does career development benefit your clients or students? (2) Tell us how the National Career Development Week initiative has assisted you in organising your careers activities? and any difference it has made?
  • Tell Us Your Career Story.

Simply send us an email on any of the topics above to contact_team@ncdw.com.au OR Tell Us Your Career Story via the easy to complete form on the website. We'd love to hear from you, so that you can share your stories with others, and you could grab yourself a great prize!

Event organisers will receive an Evaluation Form by email so keep a look out.
