Our call to action to all Australians to promote awareness of the benefits of career development

This year we're asking all Australians to encourage each other to get proactive about developing the skills to manage our life, learning and work. There are many small but significant ways in which you can promote the benefits of career development in your local community.

Why not ask your local library to run a display of career development resources. For job-seekers, or indeed anyone looking to improve their life, learning and work get the library to put the NCDW website address up on the library's public computers as a careers resource.  Another way of making a difference might be to ask at your child's school if they'd like to include some information about NCDW in their regular newsletter. Whatever you choose to do, help us spread the word that career development is for everyone!

Our Invitation to 'Have Your Say' on career development issues

What are the benefits of career development? We'd like to hear from you! This is your opportunity to have your say about career development and issues that affect your job future. We're genuinely interested in your views.

Question 1: How does career development benefit your clients or students?

Question 2: Tell us how the National Career Development Week initiative has assisted   you in organising your careers activities? and any difference it has made?

Simply send us an email with your views on these questions to contact_team@ncdw.com.au
