Logo Usage Guidelines
See the Q 10. on the FAQ page for logo download.
The National Career Development Week brand is the cornerstone of the NCDW design and branding system. This icon has been designed to become instantly recognisable as the symbol that represents National Career Development Week.
It is everyone's responsibility to maintain consistency in the use of the NCDW brand and eliminate potential for misuse or abuse of the National Career Development Week identity.
To maintain brand integrity, NCDW brand uses must be appropriate and approved by CICA / NCDW. The usage guide on this page identifies graphic standards for use of the National Career Development Week brand. It provides all the tools necessary to follow the four basic rules of effective brand identity management:
- Use brand identity consistently
- Keep the NCDW brand clearly visible
- Use specified NCDW brand colours only
- Select recommended type styles
The power of the NCDW brand identity system is in the clarity and consistency of its application of the brand!
The Design
The branding design (the Design) for National Career Development Week is available in one primary layout - as a horizontal ('inline').
Consistency of construction of this Design is critical to the intention of establishing and maintaining a single recognition device for the National Career Development Week.
Design Elements
It is intended that the National Career Development Week Design be reproduced in five colours, as identified in the J-peg dowloadable at the FAQ page. Attention to contrast should always be considered carefully — the Design should only appear on a light background colour, preferably white. The Design should not appear as a dark colour on a dark background.
Positioning the Design Elements
The Design should always have prominence over and above other images and graphic elements. Where possible, the Design should be placed at the top of the item it appears on.
An isolation zone is recommended to ensure that the dignity of the NCDW Design is not jeopardised through crowding. Please note: this zone should be seen as a minimum dimension, and it applies to every form of the Design, and in every application of the Design.
Programme Branding
Programme branding which includes a specific logo (eg "Careers Australia") may be allowed on National Career Development Week products in conjunction with the NCDW logo. Forward your request to contact_team@ncdw.com.au
Incorrect Application
Consistency of application of the National Career Development Week Design / Brand is critical to the intention of establishing and maintaining a single recognition device for this initiative. For this reason, the integrity of the Design / Brand and its use should be maintained at all times.
