Need help to organise an event?

Does the thought of organising a career event scare you? NCDW resources have been developed to assist you and to help make the process easier.

Need an idea for your event? There are a number of resources here on the website to assist:

  1. For ideas - take a look at the events that have already been registered on our website - maybe one of these events will give you an idea
  2. For more ideas - download the Event Ideas Factsheet
  3. Use the step-by-step event templates.

You've got the idea but don't know what you need to organise? Register an Event and you'll receive the NCDW Event Kit. This kit contains our newly updated event planning CD, A National Career Development Week Guide to make planning a successful careers event easy! and merchandise for you and your event. New and improved since last year, the CD contains useful factsheets, templates, posters along with some helpful planning advice from veteran NCDW event organisers (see list of Factsheets and Templates).

And remember that you can register your event with location and date to be confirmed. Just put TBC in the appropriate places and then advise contact_team@ncdw.com.au of the details when confirmed.

Don't want to do it alone? Consider joining with other organisations in your community, maybe you can each provide different resources and content and then share the costs and workload.
