National Career Development Week (NCDW), now in its fourth year, encourages all Australians to develop the skills to manage their careers, learning, work and lives in order to take control of their future. In 2008, 580 registered events were attended by over 453,000 (approximately 1 in every 40 Australians).
In 2010 the week in which we celebrate all of the careers activities held throughout the year, will be from 17 to 23 May.
Each year, National Career Development Week runs a national media campaign to promote public awareness of our key messages, engaging the assistance of a range of Ambassadors. NCDW is an initiative of the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA).
