Building Aspirations - Get the life you love Forum
The Get the life you love Campaign (including National Career Development Week), the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA), the Gold Coast School/Business Community Partnership Program (The Smith Family) and Bond University have partnered to host this forum for Gold Coast Students.
The Forum is supported by Business Gold Coast - a Gold Coast City Council initiative and the Queensland Government, Department of Education and Training.
What: Community forum - The program will be hosted by Steve Liebmann (Journalist and TV Host), with three high profile Guest Speakers, six local young people with inspiring career stories who will be interviewed by Steve, a community “Have Your Say” activity and finish with a light lunch and a local service provider’s expo.
Guest Speakers include: Courtney Hancock (2011 Coolangatta Gold woman's title, 2011 Australian Ironwoman title and 2010/11 Ironwoman Series title) and Preston Campbell (Gold Coast Titans).
Why: The Forum is designed to inspire students to aspire to get the life they love through understanding and knowledge of their interests, skills, options and opportunities to make a successful transition into an increasingly complex labour market.
