For everyone - during National Career Development Week, many hundreds of thousands of Australians of all ages and career stages will attend events that will assist them to develop the skills to manage their lives, learning and work. This week all Australians should take a few minutes to think about their career - their life, learning and work. Is it time to:
- Follow your dream?
- Look for a new career?
- Do a course?
The NCDW website has lots of resources to help you take those first steps. Whatever you do this week - it is a week full of opportunities to take control of your future!
Exciting New NCDW Speaker Series of Videos to be launched this week
To celebrate National Career Development Week (NCDW) 2011, a brand new NCDW Video Series and classroom resource will be launched during this week (16-22 May) on the AusCareerWeek YouTube Channel. This latest NCDW video resource, the "NCDW Speaker Series", showcases motivational speakers and high profile NCDW campaign supporters Eddie McGuire (TV & Radio Presenter/President of Collingwood Football Club/Businessman), David Wirrpanda (former professional football player/David Wirrpanda Foundation), and Sam Sheppard (Buildmore Building Solutions Group/Women Into Building Initiative). At the recent NCDW Forum in Victoria each shared very powerful personal insights into their journey to career success, and provided encouragement to others to work towards making their own career dreams happen. These new videos add to the catalogue of exciting and unique educational video resources developed by the NCDW Team to encourage and support all Australians to get the life they love! Don’t forget - all of the NCDW videos are available on our YouTube channel AusCareerWeek.
